Swimsuit season is here!!!! Project NOT Runway challenge: season 1, episode 6. The designers were given a challenge to create a swimsuit look for their models to wear to a rooftop party with a NYT Page 6 columnist, Richard Johnson. The winner would be announced in an issue of the paper following the runway. Boy, was it interesting seeing what they came up with. Lots of "cheeks" out, if you catch my drift. The winner ended up being Austin with this look: VERY interesting, indeed. I'm not sure if he won because of his design or because the male NYT employee really liked his very young model. Eeeeek..... The eliminated designer ended up being Alexandra. They said she tried too hard to replicate other designers, instead of using her own creativity. I'm over here like, "more fabric, more fabric!"
