Rockin' Runway

Episode 4!

This episode was a group challenge.  The designers drew up an outfit sketch to show Sarah Hudson, an up-and-coming rock star who had an album coming out.  Her style, as she described it, was sort of little girl meets punk. She chose three sketches/presentations she liked the best, and then those three designers became the team captains.  One was headed by Kevin, one by Austin, and the last by Jay.

Kevin's team ended up winning and she wore the outfit in a music video.  Here is the winning look (once again, screenshot isn't the best quality).

The losing look this week was from Austin's team.

Although the look that failed was Austin's design, he was not the one selected to go home.  It was Vanessa that was sent home.

I was pretty excited to tackle this challenge.  I knew I had some good fabrics to work with and looked forward to doing some fun hair.  Here is what I came up with.  First, my sketch:
