Beautiful Lea

Lea in leopard print!  Lea has to be one of, if not THE, prettiest AG doll (IMO). I found her on Mercari and knew I had to “rescue” her.

Her original wig had been cut and dyed pink.  

She also had dye spots on her body.  I already had a Lea wig I’d purchased just waiting to be attached to a Lea doll.  It worked out perfectly.  I couldn’t salvage the wig she came with.  As I was removing it, it started falling apart.  Plus, the bangs were cut crazy.  For the most part, her body was in pretty good shape.  There are still dye marks, but I don’t mind.  I think I can work on them better later.

I had to make her a new outfit!  I’d been saving this image I found on shop maxwell’s insta.  

I knew I wanted to recreate it in doll form.  I had this leopard print tank I was saving to use in an up-cycle project.  

Although the scale of the print is quite a bit larger than the inspiration image, I still dig it!  I also love these AG black “docs” I found on Mercari months ago.

On to the next project!
